OPERATION OMAROSA
Larry King this week asked Omarosa what really went down at the Jessica
Simpson concert. Larry asked why she felt it all went so great.
Omarosa said it was what everyone didn't see, everything lying on the
cutting room floor is what should have been seen. Larry then proceeded
to ask Omarosa to elaborate but she said she was not allowed to
elaborate and couldn't comment on the scenes that were cut.

Well, that's why I am here, to give you what is lying on the cutting
room floor. Ivy Supersonic, Heidi's manager, told me what really went
down that night. She said that Kwame Jackson called her to bring a hat
for Jessica Simpson as a gift for her one year anniversary to Nick
Lachey which was on October 25, 2003 (the day they taped the Finale
episode). Troy McClain asked Ivy to help him raise money for Operation
Smile. Jessica is their International Youth Ambassador. Ivy said, "It
was a Friday on October 24, 2003 at 4pm and they told me to be in
Atlantic city in 24 hours so I called 9 local NYC business' in the
middle of the night and had them each pledge 500 dollars. When I got to
Jessica's Meet and Greet, I presented her with the $4500 in pledges. I
decided that the best thing to do with the hat would be to have Jessica
auction it on stage, cause the main goal was to raise as much money as
we could for charity." Jessica then took Ivy on stage to auction off
the hat which Omarosa modeled on stage in the middle of the concert and
they auctioned it for OP Smile. Nick Lachey wanted to buy the hat for
her as an anniversary present. He bid about 5 times before he was out
bided by a married couple sitting in the front row in the Taj Mahal
theatre for $2500. The final episode never talked about how much was
raised. In total Ivy raised $7000/7500, Donald gave $25,000, Jessica
donated all of her proceeds for the benefit concert and sales of all
merchandise which was around $38,000. Over $70,000 was raised for
Operation Smile. Ivy also said, "Omarosa was a big help to Kwame
raising money. The hat was too big for me or Jessica, and without
Omarosa, no one could have modeled the hat for the live auction." Well
I guess she was good for something that night.
